2024 Inaugural Running of the Kegs

Tournament Requirements: 

Teams must be registered by 3/15/2024.

Must be at least 18 years old to participate.

Each team must have 2 members. Substitutes are allowed, but must be on registration form to participate.

Tournament Rules: 

Running of the Kegs Event is a relay race. Teammate #1 begins at the starting line with keg standing upright. Teammate #1 races to the opposite end of finish line and return keg to standing position. Teammate #1 hands off the paddle to Teammate #2. Teammate #2 must stand behind the line until paddle is handed over. Teammate #2, using the paddle, rolls back to cross the finish line. Teammate #2 and keg must cross the finish line.

NO Touching of the Keg with any extremities. This merits immediate disqualification.

If the paddle drops or falls during the race, or if keg drifts off course, teammate must retrieve the paddle or rogue keg before the team may continue with the race.

Video replay will be provided. Judges' decision will be final.

2024 Winnings:

Trophy and any other prizes will be awarded directly following the final Keg Roll.

Winner will receive the Inaugural Keg Roll Trophy for 6-months + perpetual bragging rights, VIP access to Meg O’Malley’s St. Patrick’s Day Festival on Sunday, March 17th, 2024, and $100 Meg O’Malley’s Gift Card!
